Main Display When you select the Weather mode, the main display opens. Temperature The first row displays the temperature in the selected unit. For more information about defining the unit of the temperature, refer to page 23. NOTE: Because the sensor is close to your wrist, you have to keep the Suunto X6 away from the body's temperature at least for 15 minutes before the temperature measurement is accurate. When you measure the temperature of the water, less time away from the body is required. Air pressure The second row displays the air pressure at sea level. For more information about defining the unit of the air pressure, refer to page 23. Shortcuts The third row of the main display contains shortcuts to three functions. A graphical presentation of the development of the air pressure (sea level) during the last 6 hours in 15-minute intervals. The absolute air pressure is the actual pressure in the location you are at that moment. Use With the Use function you can define whether the air pressure measurement is used to define the altitude or to represent the weather conditions. NOTE: For most functions of the Weather mode the correct Use setting is Baro. To select either Altimeter use or Barometer use, follow these steps: 1. In the function menu, scroll to Use with the arrow buttons and press Suunto. Change the content of the field with the arrow buttons and press Suunto. Sealevel With this function you can set the sea level barometric pressure. This is the value of barometric pressure at your current location reduced to sea level. In the function menu, scroll to Sealevel with the arrow buttons and press Suunto. With the arrow buttons, set the sea level pressure in the field to match the current sea level barometric pressure of your current location and press Suunto. Alarm When active, the weather alarm informs you if the air pressure drops more than 4 hPa/0, 118 inHg in 3 hours. NOTE: The weather alarm activates only when the Use function is set to Baro. Change the field to either on or off with the arrow buttons and press Suunto. Users can also suggest links to sports-related sites and tips regarding the sport and equipment to be published on the site, or publish their own travel reports. Sport forums include presentations of the resorts that are related to the sport. Users can rank the resorts with comments and the results are published next to the resort information. [. . . ]
